Local Government Employers want to freeze our pay to help pay for the banking crisis. The Tories control much of local government but a pay freeze for all, is at odds with their party policy not to freeze the pay of those who earn less than £18000. Is it fair that we have to pay for the bankers greed? Would you agree with a pay freeze for those earning more than £18k? Please add your views.

I agree that the banks should be made to pay a tax on all transactions,
but it would also be intresting to know what kind of action poeple would like to take if the councils still refuse to put any offer on the table at all,also what kind of an offer would be exceptable to members and what other offer members would like for unions to take to the leader if a pay freeze is it.

The bankers should be made to pay for there own failings. The government should put a tax on all financial transactions to pay for their bail out!
